Weekly Tally is a workout tracker made by Lutherborrow Systems ("we", "us"). Most of what you log stays on your phone. A small amount of data goes to a server only if you choose to use groups. We do not run ads, we do not track you across other apps or sites, and we do not sell your data.
What stays on your phone
- Your workouts, sets, templates, notes and settings.
- Your walks, jogs and runs, including the route, pace and elevation. Routes never leave your phone unless you share a picture of one yourself.
- Your location. The app asks to use it only while you record a walk, jog or run, to draw the route and measure the distance. It is not used for anything else.
If you are signed in to iCloud, Apple syncs your workouts and templates between your own devices through your private iCloud storage. We cannot see that data.
Apple Health
If you allow it, the app reads your step count from Apple Health and saves your finished workouts, walks and runs back to Apple Health. Health data is not uploaded to us, with one exception: your step totals for the week and for today are shared with the members of a group you join, as described below.
Groups
Groups are optional. You can use everything else in the app without an account.
If you create or join a group, you sign in with Apple and pick a display name. We then store:
- Your Apple sign-in ID, and the email address Apple gives us, which may be a private relay address. We do not use it to contact you.
- Your display name, the groups you belong to, and each group's name and invite code.
- Your totals for each week: number of workouts, total weight lifted, distance, steps, streak and your weekly goal, plus your steps so far today. Nothing else about your workouts is sent. No exercises, weights, sets, routes or locations.
- Pokes you send and receive: the type of poke, who sent it, who received it and when.
- People you have blocked, and reports you have made, including the reason you typed (up to 500 characters).
- A device token, so we can send you a notification when someone pokes you.
The other members of a group can see your display name and your weekly totals. They cannot see anything else.
Purchases
Pro is bought through Apple. Apple handles your payment details, and we never see them. We use RevenueCat to check whether your purchase is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous ID (or your account ID if you have signed in to groups) and your purchase status.
Who processes data for us
- Supabase hosts the group database, sign-in and server functions.
- Apple provides Sign in with Apple, push notifications, iCloud and the App Store.
- RevenueCat checks purchase status.
- Resend delivers the email we get when someone is reported, so we can look at it. The email contains the names involved and the reason given.
These companies handle the data only to run the service. We do not use advertising or analytics software.
How long we keep it
We keep your group data until you delete your account. Data on your phone stays until you delete the app or the item.
Deleting your data
To delete your group account, open Groups, then the person icon at the top right in the app and tap Delete account. This removes your profile, your group memberships, your weekly totals, your pokes, your blocks, your reports and your device token from our server. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your phone.
Apple and RevenueCat keep their own records of purchases under their own policies.
Children
Weekly Tally is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app.
