Terms of use
Last updated 24 October 2026
These terms cover your use of the Weekly Tally app, made by Lutherborrow Systems ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app. If the two disagree, these terms apply to the parts they cover.
Using the app
You can use Weekly Tally for your own training and to compete with friends. Do not use it to harass anyone, to break the law, or to try to get into other people's accounts or data.
Not medical advice
Weekly Tally tracks what you tell it and offers suggestions such as the next weight to try. These are not medical or coaching advice. Check with a doctor before you start a new training programme, and stop if something hurts. You train at your own risk.
Free and Pro
The app is free to use with up to 3 workout templates. Weekly Tally Pro adds unlimited templates, progress charts, personal records and outdoor trends.
Subscriptions
- Pro is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is taken from your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the next period within 24 hours before it ends.
- The yearly plan may include a free trial. If it does, the app says so before you buy. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you are charged for the first year.
- To cancel, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
- If your subscription ends, your templates beyond the first three are kept but locked until you subscribe again. Nothing is deleted.
- Refunds are handled by Apple. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Groups and what you post
Groups let you share your weekly totals and a display name with other members. You choose the display name and the group name. They must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, or impersonate someone else. The only messages people can send each other are pokes from a fixed list.
You can report or block any member from their name in a group. A group's creator can remove members. We review reports, and we may remove content or close accounts that break these terms. We aim to act on reports within 24 hours.
You can delete your account at any time from the app. See the privacy policy for what that removes.
Our content
The app, its design and its code belong to us. You get a personal licence to use the app on your own devices. The exercise list and photos come from free-exercise-db, which is in the public domain. Your own workout data stays yours.
Availability
We work to keep the app and group features running, but we cannot promise they will always be available, and we may change or stop features. Back up anything important. Your workouts sync through your own iCloud if you have it on.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot be excluded. Apart from that, and as far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app, and the app is provided as it is.
Ending these terms
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We can suspend or close your group account if you break these terms.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
